Amar : 9 - 12 weeks

Amar has a mild eczema on his face and some parts of his body. Alhamdulillah, not very serious like Sarah when she was a little baby. A regular application of emollient cream and occassional steroid cream helped to prevent further flare ups.
It was a very sad and distressing experience when Sarah's eczema was at its worst peak. Her skin cracked and bled. Our GP has also said that the steroid that Sarah was using may darken her skin. I suspected that already, when the affected area became darker and thicker skin was formed.

I was dreading that Amar may contract serious eczema but Alhamdulillah only a mild one. Before his daily bath, I normally apply lots of epaderm or diprobase on his body. Some moisturiser oil is also added into his bath water.
I am very particular about both Amar and Sarah's diet as well as hygiene. Both of them have to avoid certain type of food, especially those containing egg. They are regularly changed and moisturiser is reapplied at regular intervals throughout the day.
