New Year's Day

It took Sarah and Amar a couple of days to get adjusted to the UK time. They kept on getting up at 4 in the morning. And started to play dengan riang ria on the bed. My dear husband went back to work just one day after arriving from Malaysia.

Then, a lot of things happened. My friends, Naja and Wan came over to our house. Then Aunty De gave birth to her second child. Next, it was my birthday. Then, we went to visit Aunty De and her newborn daughter. Then another friend came from Southampton. And then on New Year's Eve, we went to Cardiff.
After a 2 hours journey, we arrived at Naja and Wan's house. They prepared nasi lemak with ayam goreng for lunch. Naja and Wan are both well known for their super culinary skills, we ate the super delicious nasi lemak in delight.

Immediately after lunch, we went to Cardiff's Winter Wonderland. It's an annual event with an outdoor ice skating rink and fairground rides. (Top photo, Sarah with Babah on a carousel)

Right after that, we went to Tenkaichi. A Japanese fusion restaurant famous for its Yaki Soba.

We went back to Aunty Naja and Aunty Wan's house. We got to use Aunty Wan's room but we decided to menyusahkan our host by sleeping in the living room! Hehehe..

We slept so soundly that we missed the famous Cardiff fireworks. Not that it mattered. Tidur lagi best.
We did quite a lot in Cardiff. We went to Cardiff Castle, Bute Garden, City Centre, Chicken Cottage(!) and visited Kak Sawiah as well.
