A bag of mixed feelings (title diciplak sedikit from Pycno)

The weather has been so HOT lately. And we've been out and about under the sun most of the time. I love to take the opportunity of the warm weather to be outside, since our activities have always been restricted during the colder season. Furthermore, Atuk and Nanny are here with us. It's nice to jalan-jalan beramai-ramai.

Last Thursday (13 July 2006), all of us (minus Babah, because he was working) went to Coventry town centre. We took a taxi and stopped at Pool Meadow Bus Station. From there, we walked to Transport Museum, Lady Herbert's Garden, The Cathedral, Coventry University and West Orchard Shopping Centre.

It was blazing hot! Both Amar and Sarah behaved quite well. Amar slept most of the time in the pushchair. Otherwise he normally sat quietly like a good boy. Sarah had an ice-cream. That kept her quiet for some time. And later she fell asleep in my arms.

Babah reached home from work around 6ish pm. Not long after that, we went to The Canal Basin, The Old Cathedral (again) and Nando's for dinner (they serve halal chicken).

The photos were taken around 7 pm and there was still plenty of sunlight. Sunset was around 9pm.

Amidst our fun outings, I actually reserve some sad feelings and my heart goes out to the people at war in the Middle East and victims of Tsunami in Jawa recently. I pray for their safety and good health in such difficult situation.

Sakit ati aja pasal the attack kat lebanon....and soon mesti merebak ke tempay lain. Mintak dijauhkan ler sampai ke sini...lebanon hanya 3 hrs flight from here.

Momma & Tok Ma have been worried too. Tok Ma even photocopied qunut nazilah & asked everyone she comes close to to pray for them. !
