8 out of 10 times are worn like this

Some may not agree with me, but I think Sarah has improved a lot on her speech. She may not be as fluent or articulate as her older cousins, Kakak Lin and Yaya. She is getting better for sure, although still a little bit pelat.

Sarah has the ability to remember important events by hard. She remembers well and able to re-tell and relate to the event accordingly using her own words! There were still some 'mmm' and 'aaa' in between her sentences, when she tries to think of a word. Sometimes I let her think by herself, sometimes I helped her by supplying the words.

Ever since the visit to Chester Zoo, Sarah frequently said this;

"Saghah nak gi nok Lion, rasa."
(nok = tengok)

and sometimes she described how she ran to the Lion's cage when we all heard the lion roared.

When she wants to eat something, she sometimes says this,

"Saghah nak (m)akan (n)asik, rasa" or,

"Saghah nak (mi)nom ello (milo), rasa"

She even complains to me that our next door neighbour is making quite a racket for their extension work.

"Sian Amar nak (ti)dor, kan? Ishing sangat rasa"

Yesterday, I was updating this blog. When she saw the post about Sundeep's wedding. Sarah asked me to enlarge the photo with the lampu lip-lap. So I did. Then she started asking me so many questions.

Q - "Apa tu?"
A - "Lampu"
Q - "Apa ada (l)ampu?" (kenapa ada lampu?)
A - "Sebab dia kahwin"

She paused, termenung sejenak. Suddenly, dengan wajah penuh serious, she said this,

"Saghah nak kahwin rasa."

Mama dia pulak, nak pengsan rasa!

Sarah... sarah... pakai kasut pun terbalik lagi. Ada hati nak kahwin yea?
