Mio Mao

The above clip is to give everyone a break from our 'travelling' stories. Honestly, I'm tired myself writing about them. I find myself short of adjectives and vocabs to complete the whole edition. So far I still have the following to share;

1. Our 3 days break in Cardiff
2. Oxford meet
3. Ronda-ronda Coventry

Besides all that, Sarah has been pretty active in the kitchen and our quiet Amar has learnt some new stunt tricks too.

As for today's entry, I have written before that Amar can sit in one spot while watching cartoon on tv. Mio Mao is his favourite at the moment besides Pingu. And I couldn't help but to notice that both (MioMao and Pingu) are the type of cartoons which use a non specific language.

Amar loves them both. Recently he really laughed out loud and rolled on the floor while watching Mio Mao. I'm not sure if I should worry about this but I still let him watch Mio Mao every morning at 8.50am. And it's only a 4-5 minutes show. To tell you the truth, I kinda like Mio Mao too. They are just so cute and I praise the animators for such tedious work of art.

Nisak,

I agree that's a difficult and tedious animation work. They are very creative and artistic.

If Amar laughs because he understands the story then he's briliant but if its becuase he is tickled by the animation itself, then it's normal for his age.

Dear mamasarah,
Nabil used to like Pingu too. As he grows older, he gets into action hero figures like superman and batman. But I'd have to say his favorite would have to be Power Rangers!. Though I try not to encourage him, the show and its cd is practically everywhere. Anyway, I showed him Mio Mao and he kept replaying it. Guess he;s still a Pingu-like cartoon fac after all.

Don't worry about Amar. I watched that clip and ended up laughing out too - albeit without the rolling.

My oh my. With each passing entry of yours, I'm beginning to miss the UK more and more!

Oooh! so cute! Stop-motion animation is always a marvel kan? This one is more like Gumby ek (ingat tak the green character with his horsie)--both kucing is so versatile as compared to Pingu. I hope Mio Mao will also make Imaan sit still like Amar!

1. DITH PReviously, we hardly understood Amar's expressions or feelings. As he used to be soooo quiet! Alhamdulillah, we've seen some improvements. Even though he was just laughing for no reason - I still believe he's normal.

2. Mama Singa Wah, Jepun memang kaya dengan animations kan? I bet kids will have no problems liking their tv programmes, walaupun dalam bahasa Jepun!

3. Jue Hehe, MioMao sangat comel. Kat malaysia ada kartun MioMao tak? SEbab I know Pingu is quite popular among the kids right?

4. shami Thank you Shami.

5. Simah Betapa leganya I rasa with your comment!

6. Azie Harap Amar akan pick up bahasa soon!

7. Hiyoshi Missing UK? I'm not worried about you. I can soooo imagine Hiyoshi making a comeback in 4-5 years time.

8. Dyanna That was the only MioMao on youtube. The ones in tv agak lagi kelakar dan cute.

9. Simah Tu trick BAddin suruh mandi ke? OR anne dia nak guna computer for blogging?

10. Idham Thanks for your idea. SEbenarnya memang sangat berangan untuk mengadaptasikan gambar-gambar kami dalam coffe table book sebelum pulang ke Malaysia for good nanti.

11. Mama Imaan Gumby!!! You're exactly right there. I couldnt remember the name at all!

12. Syikin Itulah, saya rasa Amar suka tengok MioMao ni sebab kartunnya sentiasa bergerak dan bunyinya yang pelik dan cute. Mungkin sebab itu juga Alia suka tengok?
