More Development

Inspired by mom2Ashely and endless Photoshop tutorials with Babah, I finally managed to produce a few amateurish designs as follows;

For the past few days, Amar hardly eats any solid food (ie. rice and meat). His main intake is warmed fresh milk, yoghurt and sometimes some slices of fruits. I am not that worried though. He has this weird eating habit, he eats a lot and non stop for two weeks. Then, he may refuse to eat anything at all for two days! He'll be back to his normal eating self after that.

Sarah picks up English quite fast recently. She is still "pelat" but has improved a lot from before. However, all her words that begin with "H" are pronounced with a silent h!!!

We are also teaching her comparatives and superlatives;

• big, bigger, biggest
• small, smaller, smallest

Yup, that sort of stuff. So it's nice to hear her comparing things and explaining which one is bigger or taller or wider. She also uses the adverb, "very" quite a lot. We manage to understand from her, the intensity of an action that she is describing to us.

A couple of Sarah's sentences:

• I like Mr Tumble, he is very funny.
• Mama cepat! Ada ladybird. Very big!

Yesterday, Sarah created another breakthrough in English language using the word very. Sarah was playing with Amar. Then, Amar wanted the pen Sarah was holding. Sarah who has just learned to share her things said, "Amar, wait!" while she tried to finish off her colouring. Amar attempted to snatch the pen from Sarah again, hating to wait!

Sarah still in her composed voice said, "Wait for your turn, Amar. Very Wait!" She repeated the words "Very wait" in a chanting manner until she was done, and passed the pen to Amar.

I guess she meant that Amar has to wait a little bit longer.
